Most buyers mistakenly believe that their AGENT works for them. This is NOT the case, as all AGENTS are legally bound to the SELLER. Although they must be honest and deal fairly, they cannot represent you fully by sharing information that may give you an advantage in the buying process. A listing agent must inform you that they are serving as a Transaction Broker, if they represent you and the seller. Most state real estate associations recommend that you use a Buyers Agent, someone who represents only your interests in the transaction. I serve as your Buyers Agent, by executing a simple form that makes all parties aware that I am working for you. Now, any information that I have or can discover regarding the property, is available to you.
